It’s 75˚ out and sunny
It’s time to hit up the beach with all your friends but not all your facebook friends
Because half of them are fake anyway
It’s time to pack up the car
So don’t forget your sunscreen or your towel or your water or your books
When you’re driving down the highway it’s totally okay to stop at the taco stand
Just remember not to put too much hot sauce on your tacos cus you might burn your tongue and it’s already a really hot day.
When you get to the beach, be sure to read all the rules
which include but are not limited to: don’t go swimming if there’s a thunderstorm, drink water, wear sunscreen, and pick up your trash
There’s a lot of fun things you can do at the beach
Like playing races with your friends or building sandcastles or going swimming or just listening to a--listening to your music or reading a book by yourself
Remember to drink lots and lots of water
And remember to reapply your sunscreen every two hours
You can ask your friend to help you with putting the sunscreen on your back because we all know that’s a pretty difficult place to reach

And remember that alcohol, the sun and swimming do not mix
Safety first and fun a distant second
Don’t go swimming if there’s not a lifeguard on duty
Wearing a swimsuit is optional
Just remember to tell your mom before you go into the deep end because you might get eaten by a shark and that would really suck and you’d never be able--get to walk on land again
Or you might get stung by a jellyfish and that would really hurt and it might ruin your day
Remember to wear your flip flops when you walk on the hot sand because you might burn your feet and that stays for a really long time I hear
Remember to drink lots of water so you don’t get dehydrated
But remember, it’s a sunny day at the beach so enjoy yourself!
And drink lots and lots of water!
